Our Vision  

Hi!, I am Pastor GEORGE IZUNWA, Senior Pastor of Gateway International  Church (The lighthouse) Port Harcourt and General Overseer of Gateway International Churches. It is my privilege and pleasure on behalf of Co-Pastor Manuela George Izunwa, all Pastors, leaders, Workers and members to welcome you home to this church. God brought you here!

The Lord empowered me to start this ministry in 1996. Apart from the GENERAL VISION for which JESUS launched HIS CHURCH: Which includes:

1. To bring men to His Salvation
2. To reveal His Healing, prosperity, empowerment, security, anointing to humanity.
3. To teach men how to live godly and goodly (In dominion) life on earth.
4. To manifest His unconditional love to men by acts of mercy and goodness.

He gave me also a specific assignment; “Teach my people strength”

Combining the GENERAL VISION of the church with my PASTORAL MANDATE gives us the GATEWAY MISSION.

REACH, TEACH, DEVELOP, BLESS AND TOUCH

1. Reach out to all Humanity with the GOSPEL
2. Teach believers to live victorious lives
3. Develop members into productive Christians
4. Bless the oppressed with God’s miracle power
5. Touch the needy with ministry

Everything we do is aimed at facilitating the fulfillment of this commission!
