MAKING A SUCCESSFUL COMEBACK  

The word “comeback” is often used in sports. It speaks about bouncing back from a place of disadvantage to victory – when you beat the odds that are against you; when everybody has given up on you, and you confront the thing that is almost defeating you and gain the upper hand.

Personal comebacks are sometimes a necessity. It may be to restore integrity, to recover some spiritual edge, or to rebuild challenged health and strength. God's dream for us is not to end in the pit, but in the place of victory. He wants us to rise out of every defeat into victory. He is committed to aiding our comeback bid, if we make it a journey with him.

SURVIVING THE VICTIMIZATION OF LIFE

In soccer, sometimes a game is scheduled, and one of the competing teams fails to show up. The referee is forced to declare a walkover and award a win to the side that merely showed up. That never happens in destiny pursuit. The opposing team always shows up and fights real hard. It is a survival of the fittest.

Never sit down waiting for God to get you manna from above. The great mystery of faith is that often, when men claim to be waiting for God to move, God claims to be waiting for man to move; and nothing gets done. When you move God will move; when you move, then all of heaven and earth will move in sync with you! Life is tough, and it's your move!
