Just Chop Life Small!

Hahaha! King Solo was a wise man. He was foolish in many areas, but in this one, I think he caught something! I guess he looked at the mouth of a dead man & concluded that he didn’t like what he saw. Much labour, little flavor & no leisure! And then he caught a revelation!

Hear him;

For what hath man of all his labour, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath laboured under the sun?

“For all his days are sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is also vanity.

“There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.” – Eccl 2:22-24

Warfare plus-including welfare!

You remember when ‘that guy’ used plus-including in class. That was a grammar bomb. But in this case, that’s the right word. People say that life is warfare. I know they understand life more than me, so, I will keep warring! For purpose! For ministry! For family! For greatness! But that is ‘plus-including’ welfare!

Over the weekend, I thought about many people who warred till the end. No break. No walking in flower fields. No vacations. No relationships. Etc. They succeeded. The world spoke about how great they were. Fame. Followership. Buildings. Wealth etc. And then, they died. Life moved on!

Purpose with pleasure!

Aaaaah! Purpose & pleasure are not mutually exclusive! You can travel for work & still add one day to catch fun with your spouse. The world won’t end. Have a day ‘Sabbath’ each week; that’s part of God’s plan. Spend money to look nice. Take a friend out. Chop life small oh!

Some people live to go to school, get a job, build a house, stress through a marriage, sacrifice to raise children, and suddenly discover that they’re old! How did life pass? And what really was life like? Just duty? No! Find your purpose. That’s the core of life! Then enjoy the pleasures! That’s the beauty of life!

The abundant life package!

Ok! As we give it up for Uncle Solo, let’s remember that 700 wives & 300 concubines aren’t part of the deal. The deal is pleasure in peace, purity & purpose! That’s the abundant life package!

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Jn 10:10 (AMP).

Prayer:

The earth will yield to you its good treasures! You will fulfill your destiny purpose! Life will submit to you in every area! No evil will come near you! And in the name of Jesus, you will taste the flavors of life’s pleasures! Amen!

Much Love

You’re made of good stuff!

One of the reasons people get frustrated with someone they love is this; they’re seeing more in the person than the person is delivering! When the gap between the capacity they envision & the results that are coming out is too wide, disappointed sets in. I’ve said repeatedly that, it is a destiny abomination to ...

Find the good in it!

Aaaaah! That Judas case was a bad one; a whole ‘Prophet Jesus’ sold for 30 pieces of silver! Then came that ‘hail, master’ kiss & all hell broke loose. But funny enough, right at that point, Jesus called him ‘friend’ & Jesus never sugarcoats stuff; Judas was both his friend & betrayer! Matt 26:48-50. How ...

Comma is not full stop!

Slow down & stop are not the same. A ‘slowing down’ object can still run into a person, while a stationary one cannot. Comma is ‘slow down’; it is the break in continuity before continuation, it creates a clause without a closure & allows for interval before arrival. Comma’s body language is ‘there is more’, ...
