Shame the shame!

A free conscience is not cheap; it is very expensive! The cost is not in pounds & dollars, but in the ‘yeses’ & the ‘noes’ that can hurt treasured relationships! A simple & uncomplicated life is not for the faint-hearted; only the bold & steadfast can stand for something! Now, what makes for a free conscience is not infallibility, because even the ‘very best’ of us will ‘mess up!’ So, beyond standing for values, the forgotten cost of a free conscience is the humility to own our messes & to rise above them! Great people don’t internalize shame when they do something wrong, instead, they ‘shame the shame’! And nothing ‘shames shame’ like sincere repentance: “I was wrong, I missed it, & I am sorry”! 1: STOP EXPECTING INFALLIBILITY from men! And anyone who appears infallible is not! Man na man & man no be God! Nobody is sinlessly perfect. No one is perfect in wisdom! We may not go into evil behavior, but in our practice of holiness, everyone misses the mark, sometimes! Did you hear of sins of omission? Hmmm!2: That man is fallible should not make failure anyones address! A CHARACTER PROBLEM is not a mistake, but a deep habitual flaw. One failure, repeated many times, has become the norm. Never ignore or excuse such, if you notice it in yourself or someone else! Habits form destinies! 3: Am sure you’ve been told that FAILURE IS NOT FATAL? Well, that’s both true & false: It’s true when managed right & false when genuine repentance is brushed aside or wrong is normalized! It takes humility to accept wrongdoing; it takes grace to forsake wrongdoing! 4: I agree that there are some wrongs that ‘I AM SORRY’ cannot erase, but it sure is a good start at making amends! Good hearted people will give grace & a second chance. Wounded people will take time to get there, but they mostly do, when they perceive genuine change. But even if no one forgives, the conscience heals with confession! 5: And please, refuse to be MANIPULATED INTO FALSE GUILT, when you are right but the voice of the aggressor is loud! Keep calm, but refuse to back down! A good conscience is a soft pillow; it will allow you sleep well even when the enemy is raging! 6: After it all, THE PAST SHOULD BE LEFT IN THE PAST! Don’t let anyone get into your head & traumatize you with your past mistakes; decide to get over both the failures & the emotional terrorists! Refuse to live in everlasting guilt & condemnation! Make peace with God & yourself, then move on with grace & boldness! Wetin I go talk again? Uncle Paulo finish work here: “Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.”“I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,” – Phil‬ ‭3:12-13‬ ‭(AMPC‬‬)Prayer: The Lord help you not to make any destiny defining blunders in Jesus Christ name! You’re made of good stuff!

One of the reasons people get frustrated with someone they love is this; they’re seeing more in the person than the person is delivering! When the gap between the capacity they envision & the results that are coming out is too wide, disappointed sets in. I’ve said repeatedly that, it is a destiny abomination to ...

Find the good in it!

Aaaaah! That Judas case was a bad one; a whole ‘Prophet Jesus’ sold for 30 pieces of silver! Then came that ‘hail, master’ kiss & all hell broke loose. But funny enough, right at that point, Jesus called him ‘friend’ & Jesus never sugarcoats stuff; Judas was both his friend & betrayer! Matt 26:48-50. How ...

Comma is not full stop!

Slow down & stop are not the same. A ‘slowing down’ object can still run into a person, while a stationary one cannot. Comma is ‘slow down’; it is the break in continuity before continuation, it creates a clause without a closure & allows for interval before arrival. Comma’s body language is ‘there is more’, ...
