Moving at the Prompting of the Word

KEY TEXT: 2 Chronicles 20:20 “Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” (NKJV)

BACKGROUND AND THOUGHTS ON THE TEXT:

Faith is never passive. Genuine faith responds when God speaks. When Jehoshaphat and Judah received God's instruction, victory did not come through military strength but through obedience to divine direction.

Many believers desire miracles while resisting movement. Yet throughout Scripture, God often released His power after people obeyed His instructions. Faith moves when God speaks.

Divine instructions may sometimes appear unusual or illogical. However, the effectiveness of faith is not determined by whether instructions make sense but by whether they come from God.

Every instruction from God carries a hidden miracle. Obedience creates the pathway through which divine intervention flows.

APPLICATION:

• Develop sensitivity to God's voice.

• Respond quickly whenever God gives direction.

• Avoid delaying obedience.

• Trust God's wisdom even when His instructions seem unusual.

• Remember that obedience often precedes manifestation.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, help me hear Your voice clearly.

2. Lord, give me courage to obey promptly.

3. Let every instruction I obey produce results.
