Obedience That Produces Miracles

KEY TEXT: Luke 17:14  “So when He saw them, He said to them, ‘Go, show yourselves to the priests.’ And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.” (NKJV)

BACKGROUND AND THOUGHTS ON THE TEXT:

The ten lepers received their miracle while obeying. Jesus did not heal them before they moved. He gave an instruction, and as they obeyed, healing manifested.

Many times, God requires movement before manifestation. The miracle is often hidden within the instruction. If the lepers had waited to see evidence before obeying, they would have remained lepers.

Faith obeys first and sees results later. Unbelief demands proof before obedience. This is why obedience is one of the strongest expressions of faith.

God is still working through obedience today. Every step of faith taken in response to His Word creates room for His power to operate.

APPLICATION:

• Understand that obedience is a demonstration of faith.

• Stop waiting for visible evidence before acting on God's Word.

• Trust God's instructions completely.

• Take practical steps toward your God-given expectations.

• Expect God's intervention as you obey Him.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, make me an obedient believer.

2. Lord, help me act on Your Word without hesitation.

3. Let miracles accompany my obedience. 

ACTION POINT:

Take one practical step today toward a goal or promise God has placed in your heart, even if conditions seem unfavorable.
