DILIGENTLY GUARDING YOUR SPIRITUAL COVENANTS

KEY TEXT: Psalm 89:34 (NKJV) "My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips."

BACKGROUND AND THOUGHTS ON THE TEXT

God is a covenant-keeping God. He operates with humanity entirely on the basis of covenant terms. A covenant is a solemn, legally binding agreement guaranteed by God's oath and sealed by blood.

While God will never break His covenant promises, human unfaithfulness, disobedience, or spiritual carelessness can hinder a person from enjoying covenant benefits. To navigate the spiritual realm successfully, you must know your covenant privileges and maintain your covenant responsibilities.

Your covenant with God through Jesus Christ guarantees protection, healing, provision, victory, and eternal life. When the enemy attacks, you do not appeal to human merit; you plead your covenant rights in Christ.

Walk in covenant consciousness! Keep your side of the covenant through obedience, tithing, faith, and holiness, and trust God's absolute faithfulness to fulfill His promises.

APPLICATION

• Study Scriptures to understand your specific covenant rights in Christ Jesus.

• Fulfill your covenant obligations diligently through obedience, tithing, and faith.

• Plead your covenant rights in Christ whenever you face sickness, lack, or danger.

• Refuse to doubt God's faithfulness, knowing He cannot break His spoken Word.

• Walk daily with the dignity and confidence of a covenant child of God.

Lord, grant me grace to walk in complete obedience to Your covenant terms daily.
