Faith That Refuses to Quit

KEY TEXT: Galatians 6:9.  "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." (NKJV)

BACKGROUND AND THOUGHTS ON THE TEXT:

One of the greatest tests of faith is endurance. It is easy to believe God when results appear quickly, but genuine faith remains steadfast even when answers seem delayed. Faith is not merely starting well; it is continuing well.

Paul encouraged believers not to become weary in doing good. The phrase "due season" reminds us that God works according to His timetable. Faith understands that harvest follows planting, watering, and waiting.

Many people abandon their prayers, dreams, and assignments just before their breakthrough. Discouragement often comes when progress is invisible. Yet God is usually working behind the scenes even when nothing appears to be happening.

Effectual faith refuses to surrender because circumstances have become difficult. It remains committed to God's promises despite opposition, delays, or disappointments.

The believer who persists in faith eventually experiences what God has promised. Victory belongs not merely to those who begin but to those who continue.

• Remain committed to God's promises despite delays. 

• Refuse to allow discouragement to weaken your faith. 

• Keep doing what God has instructed you to do. 

• Focus on God's faithfulness rather than present challenges. 

• Develop spiritual endurance through prayer and Scripture.

3. Give me grace to remain steadfast until I see Your promises fulfilled.
