FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED!

KEY TEXT: Philippians 1:6 (KJV) “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

BACKGROUND AND THOUGHTS ON THE TEXT: There are things God has started in our lives that must not end halfway. Some promises have been delayed, some journeys have become tiring, and some assignments have demanded more endurance than we expected. But the God who began the work is faithful to complete it. Today, we receive grace to finish well, finish strong, and finish with evidence. We will not abandon what God ordained because of delay, opposition, disappointment, or weariness. What He has started in us and through us shall come to glorious completion.

PRAYER POINTS

Isaiah 46:10 (KJV) “Declaring the end from the beginning... My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”

Father, thank You because You know the end from the beginning. Thank You for every good work You have started in my life. Let Your counsel concerning me stand, and let nothing terminate what You have ordained, in Jesus’ name.

Philippians 1:6 (KJV) “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it...”

Father, every good work You have started in my life, finish it. Bring every divine process, promise, assignment, and purpose concerning me to glorious completion, in Jesus’ name.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 (KJV) “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof...”

Father, give me grace to finish what I have started. Where I am weary, strengthen me; where I am discouraged, revive me; and where I have lost focus, restore my vision, in Jesus’ name.

Zechariah 4:9 (KJV) “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it...”

Every power assigned to make me start but never finish, be broken! What my hands have started by the help of God shall be completed and established, in Jesus’ name.

Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV) “For the vision is yet for an appointed time...”

Father, every promise and vision concerning my life that has been delayed, let it speak. What You have ordained for me will not die in delay; it shall surely come to pass, in Jesus’ name.

Acts 20:24 (KJV) “...so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord...”

Father, I receive grace to finish my course with joy. I will not collapse at the edge of my breakthrough or abandon my assignment at the point of completion. I shall finish strong and finish well, in Jesus’ name.

Psalm 138:8 (KJV) “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me...”

Father, perfect everything that concerns me. Let every unfinished testimony receive divine attention, and let nothing You have ordained for my life end in shame, disappointment, or frustration, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV) “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord...”

Father, strengthen Gateway International Church to complete every assignment You have committed into her hands. Let every kingdom project, vision, outreach, and mandate receive provision and completion, in Jesus’ name.

2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV) “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”

Father, strengthen Your servant, Pastor George Izunwa, with fresh grace to finish every course and assignment entrusted to him. Renew his vision and let him complete every divine mandate with honour, impact, and joy, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalm 80:19 (KJV) “Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.”

Father, turn Nigeria again. Let every good work of restoration, righteousness, peace, and transformation that You have begun in this nation be completed. Let Nigeria not remain stuck halfway, in Jesus’ name.
