Faith and Spiritual Courage

KEY TEXT: Joshua 1:9   "Be strong and of good courage... for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (NKJV)

BACKGROUND AND THOUGHTS ON THE TEXT:

Faith produces courage. When people know God is with them, fear loses its grip.

Joshua faced the enormous responsibility of leading Israel after Moses. The assignment was intimidating, but God's presence guaranteed success.

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is moving forward despite fear because confidence has been placed in God.

Effectual faith empowers believers to confront challenges boldly. It replaces intimidation with confidence in God's ability.

Every great accomplishment in God's Kingdom requires faith-filled courage

APPLICATION:

• Face challenges with confidence in God's presence.

• Refuse to allow fear to dictate your decisions.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, fill me with spiritual courage.

2. Lord, remove every fear limiting my progress.

3. Help me walk boldly in Your purpose.
